Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for Mrs. Lizzie Richardson at the 
Yuma Methodist Church.  Interment was made in the Yuma Cemetery.

Mrs. Lizzie Lovena Richardson passes away Thursday at the Yuma Hospital after a 
long illness at the age of 86 years, 6 months and 28 days.  She was born May 
29, 1882, near Ravenswood, Missouri, the fifth of seven children born to George 
and Amanda Anderson Gay.

She grew to womanhood in that community and was married to John G. Richardson 
on March 7, 1906.  To this union one son, Ora, was born.  The family moved to 
Yuma County in the spring of 1912, where they have since resided.  Mrs. 
Richardson was a kind and loving wife and mother.  She has been a member of the 
Yuma Methodist Church. 

She is survived by her husband, John; daughter-in-law, Esther Richardson;two 
granddaughters; three great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her 
son, Ora, on July 23, 1962, her parents, four sisters and two brothers.
