Wray Gazette Newspaper, Thursday, July 22, 1948
Funeral services will held today for Mrs. Mary Mattie Spelts, who died Monday 
night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Al Neitz in Wray.  The lady was 68 
years old and had been a resient of Colorado since 1908.  Her husband Felix 
Spelts died in 1931.  A large family of children survive.  The rites will be 
at the United Brethern Church north of Eckley and burial will be in the church 
cemetery.
