Index to Tombstone Photos, Lucas Cemetery, Idalia, Yuma County, CO May 2005 edition The Lucas Memorial Cemetery, established in the 1890s, is located west of Idalia on County Road AA one half mile north of US36. It was started as the Andrew Lucas family cemetery and in 1901 was donated to the community with a stipulation in the deed that burial plots would be given for free to anyone who asked. It is still active and is maintained by the East Yuma County Cemetery District.
