Unsure why the tombstone reads "Dollke" and not "Dilka", as that is what she used when alive. Johannah Henriette Blaumenstein was born May 10, 1831,in Germany and died Sep. 9, 1911 in Vernon, Yuma County, Colorado, USA. She was married to John Frederick Dilka (Dollke). She was the mother of David Dilka 1853 – 1880, Fredrick Dilka 1855 – 1870, John Andrew Dilka 1857 – 1931 Pauline Dilka 1858 – 1914, Jacob Henry Dilka 1862 – 1938. Mary Harriet Dilka 1863 – 1937, Joseph F Dilka 1867 – 1960, Rosa Ida Dilka 1869 – 1972 Additional Comments: Obituary - Mrs. Johanna Henriette Dilka, who has lived near Vernon for the past 20 years, died at her home, September 9, 1911, aged 80 years, 4 months and 9 days. Her death came after an illness of almost a year. She is survived by six children. These are Mrs. Frank Scherupp, Mrs. John Brown of Shirley, Oklahoma, Mrs. Charles Kible and Jake, Joe and Andrew Dilka. the three sons and Mrs. Scherupp and Mrs. Charles Kible are residents of Yuma County.
