Thursday, January 23, 1930 Wray Gazette
Miss Bertha E. Heindel and James Clyde Brownlee, popular Wray young people, 
surprised their many friends here last Tuesday afternoon when they were 
quietly married at the Methodist parsonage in Wray by Rev. A. M. Carpenter.  
The ring ceremony was used and Mrs. W. J. Heindel was the only attendant.  
They will make their home on the Brownlee ranch north of Wray.  Mrs. Brownlee 
is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Heindel of Wray and is a graduate of the 
Wray High School.  Mr. Brownlee is a son of Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Brownlee of 
north of Wray.  He was raised in this community and is a very promising young 
rancher.
