Know all Men by these presents that I Benjamin Baker of ye Town & County of 
Fairfield for ye Consideration of ye Naturall Love & Affection I have for my 
son Avery Baker and as part of Portion of my Estate Do Give Grant & Confirm 
unto my s’d Son Avery Baker & to his heirs & Assigns for ever the Southerly 
part or End of my Homsted in Said Fairfield in Quantity about Six Acres more 
or less and is ye whole thereof that Remains over and above what I have 
Already given to my two Sons Ebenezer and Joshua by Deed of Even Deite 
herewith & bounded Southerly & Westerly on Country Road Northerly on Land I 
have already given my Son Joshua in part & part on Land of Sam’ll Couch & 
Easterly on Land I have given my Son Ebenezer together with all the buildings 
thereon being: Also one third part of my Salt Meadow Southerly of my Dwelling 
House…. To Have and to Hold ye above granted premises with the appurtenances 
thereof unto him the Said Avery Baker his heirs & Assigns for ever without any 
let Claim or Molestation from me the Said Benjamin Baker or from any person by 
from or under me or them. In Witness Whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and 
Seal this 12th Day of March Domi 1762.
