            Addident
   While Mr. Samuel Pierce, of Bethel, was driving
from that village to Newtown, Saturday night, he
was run into and thrown from his wagon by some
unknown vehicle when near the resident of Chas.
Northrop. The horse, frightened at the collision,
started on a run, and was stopped near Philo Clark's
by John Carroll, who brought the animal to Newtown.
Mr. Pierce, although suffering great pain, was
able to walk this village, where upon examination
it was found that his should was dislocated. Dr.
Judson set the injured member, and the patient 
was able to be taken to his home on Sunday.
