DASKAM, son of Mrs. Betsy Daskam, went out with the 6th Conn., as cook, and was taken with the fever in Beaufort, N. C., where he died early in October, 1862, aged thirty years. He had made himself useful to the regiment, and his death was felt to be a great loss to them.
