F, 3d Conn., after returning from his three months campaign, returned to his business in town, and subsequently removed to Darien. On the 6th of March, 1868, as he was walking on the track of the railroad, a short distance from his house, he was suddenly struck and killed by an engine. He left a wife and three children.
