HOYT, 3d Md., died probably at Little Washington, Va. He was an orphan at the opening of the war, son of Emmet, and grandson of Dea. Calvin Hoyt, with whom he was living. He was an amiable and excellent young man, with fine gifts of mind as well as heart.
