HOYT, son of John, of Norwalk, Co. A, 28th Conn, died after four weeks sickness at Pensacola, Fla., Sunday, Feb 22, 1863. His remains were buried in the old Spanish cemetery in the center of Pensacola, with a soldier's head board to mark the grave. After the war they were disinterred and removed to the family lot in Norwalk.
