LOCKWOOD, 141st Penn. Infantry, a native of the town and son of the late Captain Edmund Lockwood, of Leroyville, Penn. His death occurred at Falmouth, Va., April 3, 1863, at twenty-four years of age. He is remembered here as an intelligent and sprightly youth and a worthy young man. His colonel paid him this high tribute : "His death is a most serious loss to his company and regiment. He was a most courteous gentleman and extremely active and efficient in the performance of his duty."
