Stamford Soldiers' Memorial 1869
  HIBBARD MEAD, Co. H, 28th Conn., son of Reuben, died on the way home, at half
past nine o'clock, A. M., Aug. 13, 1863, instead of the 10th, as the Adjutant's
Catalogue reports it, and was buried the same day at Memphis.
