Written: June 30, 1772

Will of Jeremiah Turner of Newtown, dated June 30, 1772:
     Wife Abigail; eldest son Jeremiah; sons Miller, John, Nathan, Calvin; 
daughter Phebe (has received part of her portion); daughters Abigail, Mary, 
Hannah and Frances.  
     Codicil dated Sept. 6, 1778: mentions "kindness of my wife Abigail in my 
long illness."
     Distribution Feb. 6, 1786: to widow; to heirs of Jeremiah Turner Jr., 
deceased; to Miller, John, Nathan, Calvin, Phebe, Abigail, Mary, Hannah, Fannie.
     (The list is also given as: Mrs. Abigail, widow; Ebenezer Turner, son and 
only heir to Jeremiah Turner of Newtown, deceased, the eldest son; Miller, the 
second son; John, the third son; Nathan, the fourth son; Calvin, the fifth son; 
Phebe Booth, the eldest daughter; Abigail Camp, the second daughter; Mary 
Trowbridge, the third daughter; Hannah Turner, the fourth daughter; Frances 
Turner, the fifth daughter.)
     Distribution of the widow's share, Dec. 27, 1795: to Miller, John, Nathan, 
Calvin and Ebenezer Turner; to Phebe, wife of Abel Booth; to Molly, wife of 
Samuel Trowbridge; to Abigail, wife of Jehiel Camp; to Hannah, wife of Asa 
Hinton; to Frances, wife of Hezekiah Camp.
