Born in Walton, N.Y., daughter of the late Arthur and Kathryn (Pickwick) Hendricks, she grew up in Delaware County, N.Y. She was married to Warren Anderson for 19 years. Together they had seven children. Nancy was a mother and homemaker with employment in various positions throughout her life. In 1977, she earned her high school diploma, and went on to graduate in 1982 from Asnuntuck Community College with degrees in liberal arts and business management with computer information services. In 1989 she moved to Rome, N.Y., making her home there with employment in the Senior Aide Program in secretarial positions. Nancy enjoyed many hobbies, including bird-watching, embroidery, reading, and had a special interest in genealogy, from which she developed extensive family information. She returned to Connecticut, making her home eventually in Enfield in 1997 to be close to her children. Nancy is survived by six children and their spouses, Arthur and Doris Anderson of Enfield, Priscilla and Keith Wells of Windsor, John Anderson of Dunnellon, Fla., Gary and Linda Anderson of Windsor, Leah and Reg Arpin of Enfield, and Robin Dalhmanns of Southwick, Mass.; 19 grandchildren, Richard and Kevin Goupee, Christine Sirois, Debby, Donna, Denise, David, Dara, Dawn, and Darren Wells, Holly and David Anderson, Christopher and Dana Gagne, Stacie Anderson, Joseph, and Sarah Cote, and James and Shawn Nelson; five great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Brunette, Michael Goupee, Kayleigh Lawrence, and Kathryn and Adam Sirois; a sister, Alice Millard of Norwich, N.Y.; three nephews; one niece; several great-nephews and great-nieces; and three aunts, Florence Loker of Stuart, Fla., Dorothy Gibson of Sun City, Ariz., and Barbara West of Niagara Falls, N.Y. She was predeceased by a daughter, Rosemary Anderson, in 1948. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 20, at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield, followed by the committal in St. Joseph Cemetery, Poquonock. Nancy's family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 19, at the funeral home. The Anderson family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the North Central Hospice, and the wonderful staff at Evergreen Health Care, Sub Acute Unit, for their devotion and special care they gave Nancy.
