(Kearns) Arsenault, 63, the widow of Leo H. Arsenault, died Wednesday, May 30, 2001, at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born in Manchester, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Josephine Kearns, she had been a lifelong resident. Grace was retired from Caldor's and had previously worked at King's Department Stores. She had a love for bingo, card parties, and music by Elvis. She is survived by her daughter, Maria Arsenault of Manchester and her son, Wesley Nelson, and her daughter, Sandra Preston of Manchester and her children, Bobbie Grace, Robert, and Mark; her sisters, Frances Bombard of Willimantic and Julia Kearns Alton of Hemet, Calif.; her brother, Thomas Kearns of Goleta, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Lawrence, Leonard, and Joseph Kearns. A funeral service will be held at 9:15 a.m. Saturday, June 2, from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St., Manchester, followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 10 a.m. at St. James Church, Manchester. Burial will be Tuesday, June 5, in St. James Cemetery, Manchester. Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 1, at the funeral home.
