Ayotte Gerard "Jerry" W. Ayotte, 65, of Fairfield Road, Enfield, beloved husband of Joyce (Quagliaroli) Ayotte, died Tuesday, April 17, 2001, at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford. Jerry was born in Caswell, Maine, one of 12 children born to the late James and Kathleen (Gorey) Ayotte. He lived in Hartford and Windsor Locks before moving to Enfield in 1962. He had been employed at Roncari Industries for 28 years, retiring in 1985 due to his declining health. He was a communicant of Holy Family Church. Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Theresa A. LaRoche and her husband, Stephen; three sons, Michael J. Ayotte, Francis G. Ayotte, and James B. Ayotte and his wife, Linda, all of Enfield; three brothers, Theodore, Bernard, and Angelo Ayotte, all of Maine; three sisters, Sister Angela Ayotte ICM, serving in Africa, Patricia Guillerault of Enfield, and Mary Ellen Gleason of Eagle River, Alaska; his five grandchildren whom he loved and cherished, Ryan and Brooke LaRoche, and Renee, Matthew, and Kathleen Ayotte; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at 9:15 a.m. Saturday, April 21, at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Church. Burial will be in St. Patrick King Street Cemetery, Enfield. His family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 20, at the funeral home.
