Taken by John Palmer 2nd, John Wilson and John Roberts. Will dated 25 December, 1749. I, Abigail Phelps of Windsor, do make this my last will and testament, appointing my three sons, James Phelps, Hezekiah Phelps and Joshua Phelps, sole executors: My will is that I give to my daughter Abigail Grant my green riding hood, and also my black silk crape gown and black taffety apron; and all the rest of my wearing apparrel to be equally divided between my four sons, Samuel Phelps, James Phelps, Hezekiah Phelps and Joshua Phelps. Nextly, I give to my son James one certain note due me, dated 14 April, 1749, for the sum of œ28-02-00; also, one certain note due to me, dated 27 June, 1745, for the sum of œ7-00-00. And one note due to me, dated 27 June, 1745, for the sum of œ50-10-00, I give to my son Hezekiah. Nextly, I give to my son James my warming pan, chamber pott, my little brass kettle, and also one featherbed yt is now at his house; and all the rest of my moveable estate I give to my two sons, Hezekiah Phelps and Joshua Phelps, only they shall get my granddaughter Esther Phelps a pare of gold jewells, and my granddaughter Ellenor Phelps a silver hair pegg. Nextly: I give to my son James my right in the lottment of land I have in the Great Meadow in Windsor that was my mother's, Abigail Eno, late of Windsor decd. Nextly, I give to my son Hezekiah my right in that lott of land that I have in Wintingbury, that was my sd. mother's land. Nextly: I give to my son Joshua all my right of land that I have in Torrington, that was my sd. mother's land. Witness: John Palmer 3rd, Jerusha Palmer, Samuel Eno. Abigail X Phelps, ls.
