Written: November 8, 1811

   Nov. 7, 1811: Widow Mary Garret declined administration of the estate and 
requested that the Court appoint some other person.   
   Nov. 8, 1811: John Garret & Wait Garret of New Hartford, Litchfield Co., 
posted bond as administrators of the estate of John Garret, late of New 
Hartford, deceased.
   Nov. 9, 1811: Inventory taken by Theophilus Pettibone & Benoni Seger.  
Included no land or house.  Total, $162.58.
   Dec. 29, 1812: estate owed John Garret, administrator of the estate, for 
funeral expenses, paying the apprisers, settling the estate, $13.75.
