Whereas Alexander Pettigrew of Colchester was in September last convicted of burglary by the Honorable Superior Court and not being able to pay ye costs is by direction of said Court sold & put out to Mr. Samuel Peters who executed the within note, now it is the true interest & meaning of the parties that if the said Pettigrew should earn so much for the said Peters or any way pay it him then the said note to be paid, otherwise not save only so much as he shall earn or otherwise pay to ye said Peters.
