Advertising printed in two columns on one side of a piece of paper, 7" x 6".  
The other side of the paper is blank.  It was evidently planned to be folded 
down the middle so that the printed matter would appear on the front and back 
covers.  The purpose of the inside pages is unknown.
     H.P. Buell, druggist & stationer.  Colchester, Conn.
     G.O. Jackson, manufacturer of every description of harness, and dealer in 
saddles, whips, sleigh bells, collars, blankets, combs, miller's oil, horse 
brushes, etc.  Repairing neatly done.  Wheeler's Block, Colchester, Conn.
     Colchester Post Office.  Mail arrangement.  Summer of 1881.  Mails close 
for Boston, Hartford, Norwich and New York, at 9:00 A.M.  Mails for New York, 
and the West, taking also mails for Boston, Norwich, and Hartford, at 5:20 
P.M.  Mails arrive from Boston, New York, and the West, at 10:20 A.M.  From 
Hartford, and the East, also Gilead and Hebron, and from Norwich, at 6:20 P.M.
From Norwich, direct, at 1:30 P.M.  C.H. Rogers, P.M.
     Geo. C. Champlin, dealer in dry goods, groceries, teas, coffees, spices 
and general merchandise.  Colchester, Conn.
