Colchester Sept. 11, 1761 cash paid Francway (Francois), the French neutral Mar. 1762 town reimbursed by State for expenses to assist Elijah Taylor and Elias Dewey when sick of the small pox Dec. 20, 1762 received payment from estate of David French Mar. 13, 1777 received L1/8/0 from John Roberts for a great coat and shirt that was John Roberts' deceased Aug. 10, 1777 Town of East Haddam paid Town of Colchester for one-half the expenses of the funeral and last sickness of Mary Metcalf Jan. 16, 1776 received 14 shillings by sale of great coat that was David Gillett"s July 22, 1777 received from Lieut.
