Residence at date of application: Glastonbury, Connecticut Residence at date of enlistment: Glastonbury, Connecticut Enlisted June, 1776, for 6 months, as a private under Capt. Samuel Wells, Col. Gay, Conn. Enlisted March, 1777, for 2 months, as a private under Capt. Elizur Hubbard, Col. Brown, Conn. Enlisted June, 1777, for 2 months, as a private under Capt. Benoni Smith, Conn. Enlisted September, 1777, for 3 months, as a corporal under Lieut. Stephen Goodrich, Col. Thaddeus Cook, Conn. Enlisted March, 1778, for 6 months, as a private under Capt. Elijah Wright, Col. Roger Enos, Conn. Enlisted May, 1780, for 8 months, as a private under Capt. Edward Eells, Col. Samuel Wyllys, Conn. Enlisted in summer of 1781, for 2 months, as a corporal under Capt. Elizur Hubbard, Conn. Battles engaged in: Flatbush, where wounded in breast, Harlem Heights, White Plains, Stillwater and Saratoga. Soldier married at Glastonbury, Conn., Jan 4, 1781, Abigail Goslee. He died at Waterford, New London Co., Conn., Feb 9, 1838, and she was allowed pension on her application executed Oct 15, 1840, at which time she was aged 76 years "and upward" and lived with her son, Josiah.
