ALLEN David A. Allen, age 85,of Slidell, LA, passed away on Wednesday, August 
25, 2010, in Slidell. He is survived by his wife Elsie Allen; two children: 
Dennis Allen, and Susan Radway; two brothers: Robert Allen and Donald Allen; 
and two grandchildren: David Radway and Meganne Radway; step children: 
Charlene Whittaker and Aldor Jacobs. He was preceded in death by his parents: 
Carl and Charlotte Allen; a brother Richard Allen; and a step-son, Howard 
Smith. Mr. Allen, a marine mechanic and avid boatman, was born in New London, 
CT, was a former resident of Beaufort, SC, and a resident of Slidell, 
Louisiana for the past ten years. Memorial Services will be held at Christ 
Episcopal Church, 1534 Seventh Street, in Slidell, Louisiana, on Monday, 
August 30, 2010, at 11:00am. Friends may visit at the church on Monday
