Joseph Sill died August 6, Aged 60 1696 This is the original 300 year old stone that matches the stone of his second wife Sarah Clark next to him. Additional Comments: Six months after the death, of her first husband, on 12 Feb 1676/77 in Lyme, New London, CT, Sarah Clark married CAPT. JOSEPH H. SILL son of JOHN SILL and JOANNA FILLBROOK. He was born 1636 in Newcastle, Upon-Tyne, Nothu, England, and died 06 Aug 1696 in Lyme, New London,CT. He was a captain in the King Phillips War Train Band.
