Hartford County, Conn., Superior Court, Dec. 15, 1741
Dorothy Green of Colchester, wife of Jacob Green, Jr., of said town, deposed 
that she married Jacob on July 30 past and lived with him until some time in 
the latter end of October, at which time he carried her to her uncle's in East 
Haddam and left her there, poor and sickly.  Cited fradulent marriage contract, 
he not fulfilling duties of a husband.  (signed by mark)
     Benjamin Day, Constable of Colchester, delivered the writ to Jacob Green, 
Jr., on Jan. 4, 1741/2.
