STANTON of the Town of East Lyme in the County of New London and State of Connecticut, being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make, publish and declare the following to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made. 1st I direct that my just debts and funeral expenses be paid out of my estate. 2nd I give and bequeath to Elvin A. STANTON and Mary D. MANWARING the sum of $50 each out of my estate and I also give to my grand-son, Herbert S. MANWARING the sum of $25. 3rd I give, devise and bequeath to my wife, Jennie A. STANTON the balance of my property both real and personal. 4th I hereby appoint my son Elvin A. STANTON executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 30th day of December A.D. 1911. James A. STANTON (L.S.) Signed, sealed, published and declared, as and for his last will and testament, by him the said testator in presence of us, who at his request, and in his presence, and in presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses hereunto. Wilbur E. HAVENS, Mrs. Fred L. DART, A.J. BUSH State of Connecticut, County of New London ss. Town of East Lyme We Wilbur E. HAVENS and Mrs. Fred L. DART who have subscribed our names as witnesses to the foregoing will, make solemn oath that James A. STANTON the said testatrix signed and sealed the foregoing instrument in our presence and in the presence of each of us, and that at the time of executing this will the said testatrix was to the best of our knowledge and belief, of sound and disposing mind and memory, and free from all undue influence. This affidavit is made and signed at the request of James A. STANTON Wilbur E. HAVENS, Mrs. Fred L. DART Subscribed and sworn to this 30th day of December, 1911 before me Austin J. BUSH Judge of Probate Vol. 18, p. 227 State of Connecticut, District of East Lyme, Probate Court Estate of James A. STANTON late of East Lyme in said district deceased. I, Austin J. BUSH, Judge of the Court of Probate for said district certify that the last place of residence of said James A. STANTON, deceased, was in the town of East Lyme in the State of Connecticut; that the estate of said deceased has been settled in said probate court; that by the terms of the will of said deceased the following described real estate situated in said East Lyme was devised and bequeathed to his wife, Jennie A. STANTON, of said East Lyme viz: Bounded Northerly on lands of Stephen G. TURNER, Frederick DART. Easterly on lands of said DART, Wm L. BEELE, Charles H. CONE and M.J. BUSH; Southerly on lands of said BUSH and Westerly on loands of Julia LITTLEFIELD and James E. LUCE. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of the probate court for the district of East Lyme this 8th day of October A.D. 1912, Austin J.
