Bailey, died peacefully Sunday, Sept. 2, 2001, at her home. She was born June 15, 1932, in Hamden, daughter of the late William and Geraldine (Yurcsan) Siteman, and had lived most of her life in Manchester. Mrs. Bailey was a communicant of St. James Church in Manchester, a member of the Manchester Memorial Hospital Woman's Auxiliary, the Child & Family Services Auxiliary, the Manchester Republican Woman's Club, and had been a longtime volunteer with Meals on Wheels. Besides her husband, she is survived by her son, Thomas A. Bailey Jr. of Manchester; three daughters, Donna C. Boyce and her husband, David, of Westboro, Mass., Brenda A. Bailey and her husband, Jeffrey Duckham, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Eileen C. Needham and her husband, David, of Sacramento, Calif.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Janet and Phillip Pierce of Hilton Head, S.C., and Geraldine and Myles Anderberg of Ft. Pierce, Fla.; three grandchildren, Amanda M. Boyce, Adam D. Boyce, and Michael A. Needham; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, at the Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St., Manchester, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. James Church, 896 Main St., Manchester. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Manchester. Calling hours will be from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, at the funeral home.
