Bak, 66, of 22 Windsor St., died Sept. 30 in Newington. He was born in Enfield and was a lifelong resident. He worked for the former Bigelow-Sanford Carpet Co. as a weaver for 25 years, retiring several years ago. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a member if the John Maciolek Post 154 American Legion, and a member of St. Adalbert's Church. He is survived by hs wife, Helen Bak; a son, Andrew F. Bak, Jr., of Enfield; two daughters, Linda Bak, Mrs. Donald LeDuc; two brothers, Anthony and Benny Bak, all of Enfield; a sister, Mrs. Victor Cherry of Opelika, Ala., and a grandson. The funeral was Oct. 2 from Leeter Funeral Home to a Mass in St. Adalbert's Church. Burial was in St. Adalbert's Cemetery with military honors.
