Carolyn Baron



SUFFIELD - Carolyn C. Baron of 37 Brandywine Lane, wife of Springfield

attorney Gilbert W. Baron, died Dec. 14 at home.

She also lived in Somers, and in Longmeadow, Mass.

Her husband was a member of the Longmeadow Planning Board.

Born in Valleyford, Wash., she attended the University of Washington, Seattle,

and was employed at the Justice Department and in World Was II, was a private

secretary to the General Counsel for the Douglas Aircraft Corp., Santa

Monica, Calif.

Active in Republican politics, she was a member of the Springfield Garden Club, 

and Womem's Association of Elmcrest Country Club, East Longmeadow.

Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Dr. John A. of Hanover, N.H., 

and Dr. Richard L. Baron of St. Louis, Mo.; two brothers, and a grandson.

A private funeral was held Dec. 18 in Dickinson Streeter Funeral Home, Springfield.
