Irene (Kopaczek) Bozio



Irene (Kopaczek) Bozio, 85, of East Hartford, beloved wife of 62 years to 

John J. Bozio, died Sunday, April 15, 2001, at Manchester Memorial Hospital.



Born in Chicopee, Mass., she had lived in East Hartford since 1948. 

She retired from Pratt & Whitney after 27 years of service in 1978. 

She was a member of Pratt Retirees Bowling League. 



Besides her beloved husband, she leaves two sons, John E. Bozio and his wife, 

Maryann, of South Carolina, and Robert D. Bozio Sr. and his wife, Gail, 

of Coventry; four grandsons, Barry, Scot, Robert Jr., and Danny Bozio; 

two sisters, Helen Pieczarka and Emily Ciepial; a brother, Theodore Kopaczek; 

and a sister-in-law, Francis Kopaczek, all of Chicopee Falls, Mass.; and 

several nieces and nephews.



Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the 

family.



There are no calling hours.



The Ladd-Turkington Funeral Home, Vernon, has charge of arrangements.
