Cover, 54, of Enfield, passed from this life on Tuesday, April 1, 2003, at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs. He was born December 15, 1948, in Orrstown, Pa., the son of the late Leroy and Ethel Cover. He had resided in Enfield for the past 11 years. William served his country honorably with the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and attained the rank of M.SGT in the Air Force Reserves. He was formerly employed as a Electro Mechanical Technician and a former Automotive Instructor at the Baran Institute of Technology, Windsor. William was an avid Drag Racing Participant, a member of the International and National Hot Rod Association, a former instructor of Country Western Dance, and an American Legion Member in Pennsylvania. William is survived by his wife of 11 years, Miriam J. (King) Cover; his 3 children, Wendy Beam and her husband, Kevin, Julie Green and her husband, Thomas, and Brandon Cover, all of Pennsylvania; two stepsons, Jeffrey Crowley and his wife, Carol, of Enfield and Greg Crowley and his wife, Nona, of E. Windsor; five grandchildren, Laura Green, Denise Green, Derek Graham, Garat Green, and Briana Beam; and 3 Step Grandchildren. He also leaves a brother, Donald L. Cover of Pennsylvania; 3 sisters, Mrs. Glen (Susan M.) Sites of Pennsylvania, Mrs. Bruce (Anna Jean) Moody of Florida, and Mrs. Thomas (Bonnie K.) Barrick of Pennsylvania, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for William will be held on Monday, April 7, 2003, at 8 p.m. from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Rd., Enfield. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 4 to 8 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Chambersburg, Pa. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
