TITLE: Ralph Francis Caye Sr., Obituary, April 13, 2003 SUBMITTERS: Journal Inquirer Manchester,CT (issue March 11, 2003) FORMATTED: ABishop, March 2003 ***************************************************************************** CAYE Ralph Francis Caye Sr., 68, of Manchester, husband of the late Antoinette (Rodrigue) Caye for 45 years, passed from this life on Monday, March 10, 2003, at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Ralph was born in Hartford, the son of the late Charles and Florence Caye Sr., and had lived the last 30 years in Manchester. He worked most of his life at Equipment Service of Hartford. He then went to work for Freightliner of East Hartford. He was an avid bowler for the last 25 years, and he enjoyed trips to the Mohegan Sun Casino with his very dear friends. Ralph is survived by his children: Ralph F. Caye Jr. of Manchester, Mike Caye of Broad Brook, Patrick Caye and his wife, Hope, of East Hampton, Mary Van Allen and her husband, Richard, Yvonne Murray and her husband, Brent, Yvette Boykins and her husband, Jeffrey Sr., all of East Hartford, and Pauline Caye of Danielson. He also leaves 8 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Ralph is also survived by his three brothers: George Caye of Clearmount, FL, Bill Caye of East Hartford, and Leonard Caye of Dade, FL; and by one sister, Louise Dory of Coventry. He also leaves many dear friends. Ralph was predeceased by two daughters: Alice and Anette Caye. Relatives and friends are invited to gather for a funeral service on Friday, March 14, at 10 a.m. at the Callahan Funeral Home, 1602 Main St., East Hartford Committal services will follow in the Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours will be held Thursday, March 13, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home.
