Cody Sr., 76, of Windsor Locks, husband of the late Elizabeth (Warner) Cody, died Sunday, May 6, 2001, at Walnut Hill Convalescent Home, New Britain. Ed was born in Hartford and had lived in Windsor Locks most of his life. He was a letter carrier at the Windsor Locks post office before his retirement. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. He is survived by five daughters and a son, Barbara Kiernan and her husband, William, of Enfield, Sharon Baillargeon and Kevin Moran of Granby, Carol Brackoneski and her husband, William, of Springfield, Jean Lyman and her husband, James, of Stafford Springs, Jane Soucy and her husband, Bruce, of Windsor Locks, and Edward F. Cody Jr. and his wife, Tracy, of Windsor Locks; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
