Clavette, 61, of Glastonbury and formerly of Ellington, died Friday, March 28, 2003, at Hartford Hospital. He was born December 16, 1941, in Madawaska, Maine, son of the late Paul & Lillian (Ouellette) Clavette and had been a resident of Glastonbury for many years. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Mr. Clavette had retired from the East Hartford School System after many years as a guidance counselor and ESL Teacher. He was currently employed with Securities America in Manchester as an Investment Specialist. Rodney is survived by his sister Deirdre C. Briggs of Manchester, two brothers, Brian D. Clavette of Golden, Colo., Mark N. Clavette of Tolland, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2003, at 6 p.m. at the Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St., Manchester. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be private in Narragansett, R.I.
