Corbeil, 70, formerly of Oak Street, East Hartford, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2001, after a brief illness. He resided at the Westside Multicare Center on Bidwell Street in Manchester since 1997. George was born and grew up in Biddeford, Maine, but lived most of his adult life in and around Manhchester and East Hartford, where he roomed at his brother Maurice's home. George was occasionally employed as a driver, but took his greatest pleasure in counseling and serving as a sponsor for Alcoholics Anonymous members. He had a strong faith in God and avidly studied the Bible. George was also very interested in the early history of Canada. George is survived by his brother, Joseph Corbeil of Southington; and three sisters, Denise LeTourneau of Saco, Maine, Lucille Thibeault of Sanford, Maine, and Rose Spulick of Biddeford. His friends and surviving family members, including his three nephews, Allan, Stephen, and Thomas, will sincerely miss him. We are happy that he is with our Father now. The John F.
