Sally was born February 2, 1940, in Hartford, the daughter of the late Kenneth Widdison and Florence (Swift) Widdison Galeota and step-father Anthony Galeota. She lived in East Hartford, later moving to Hebron in 1967. Sally was a telephone operator with SNETCO for five years, was a homemaker for her loving family, and also worked in the Hebron School System cafeteria for ten years. She was a communicant of the First Spiritualists Church of Willimantic. Besides her loving husband, Sally is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth C. and Gary McNeff of Springfield, Mass., and Darlene L. and Sean Kearns of Bolton; one son and daughter-in-law, Bruce P. Jr. and Mary Crowell; one sister and brother-in-law, Gail L. and Allen Guilford of Hebron; one brother and sister-in-law, Anthony and Nancy Galeota of Eastford; five grandchildren, Graystorm Crowell, Christina McNeff, Kayla McNeff, Steven McNeff, and Tyler Daigle; as well as ten nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 8, 2003, 10:00 a.m. at the Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home Chapel, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Calling hours will be Monday, April 7, 2003, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
