Denise was born in Manchester and lived in Vernon with her husband, John, and son, Jeremie, for the past 12 years. She was employed as a legal secretary at McCoy, Reveley, McCoy of Tolland. She and John were together for 18 years, married for 10. Denise was an avid animal lover and proud of her flower gardens. She loved going to craft fairs and boating on the lake. She also enjoyed family vacationing and waking up to the sunrise with friends in the Caribbean. She leaves a son, Jeremie Turcotte of Vernon; a stepson, John of Glastonbury; a stepdaughter, Danielle of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a brother, Dennis DeLisle of Manchester; two sisters, Diane DeLisle of Hartford and Doreen Jurgens of South Windsor; three nephews, Bryce, Corey, and Dylan; and two nieces Tammy and Jaimie. Denise loved her family and was loved by all and will be deeply missed. Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 11, at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St., Manchester. Family and friends will conduct at memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
