Duffy, died Friday, May 4, 2001, at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. Born in Hartford, daughter of the late John and Mary (Wojtola) Czkildi, she had lived in Windsor, graduating from John Fitch High School in 1945. She has lived in Windsor Locks for the past 30 years. She leaves a daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Mark Beaudoin of Windsor Locks; two grandchildren, Jessica and Jack Beaudoin; six sisters, Lena Kress, Jean Kalmus, and Cecil Powers, all of Windsor Locks, and Alice Falkowski, Catherine Czkildi, and Stephanie Trikakis, all of Windsor; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Metro, Joseph, Nestor, and Jack Czkildi; and a sister, Agnes Kawczynski. A funeral service will be held at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, from the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Bloomfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Gabriel Church, Windsor. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Her family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today, May 7, at the funeral home.
