Daley, 40, of Tolland, husband of Susan (Eldridge) Daley, died Monday, May 14, 2001, at home. He was born in Hartford, son of Clifford and Thelma (Fortier) Daley of Vernon, and had lived in Vernon before moving to Tolland six years ago. He was employed by Hamilton Sundstrand of Windsor Locks and was a member of the machinists union. He was a member of the Greater Vernon Jaycees and played softball in the Vernon Parks and Recreation League. Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by his daughters, Jennifer and Jessica; his brothers, Thomas Daley of Massachusetts and Clifford Daley of Pennsylvania; and his sisters, Catherine Daley of Glastonbury and Jean Daley of Maryland. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 17, at the United Congregational Church of Tolland. Burial will be in South Cemetery, Tolland. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today, May 16, at the Tolland Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Merrow Road, Route 195, Tolland.
