Dunne The funeral of Thomas Edward Dunne of Hazard Avenue, well-known dairy and tobacco farmer, who died late Wednesday night after a short illness at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford Springs, was conducted Saturday morning from the Browne Funeral Home, 121 Pearl Street, followed by a solemn requiem high mass at St. Patrick's Church. Committal services were conducted in the old St. Patrick's Cemetery. Mr. Dunne was formerly for many years a member of the Democrat Town Committee of Enfield and also a former appraiser for the Federal Land Bank in Springfield, Mass., he was also a charter member of the Connecticut Milk Producers' Association. He was born in Scitico, son of the late Garrett and Margaret (Crowley) Dunne, and lived in Enfield all his life except for a few years when he was a foreman in a Chicago casket hardware company. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church. Besides his wife, Mrs. Amanda (Gendron) Dunne, he leaves one daughter, Mrs. Joseph Cuneo of West Haven; four sons, Raymond Dunne of Amersterdam, N.Y., Arthur M. Dunne of Chicopee, Mass., and Henry F. and Edward A. Dunne of Thompsonville; 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. *********************************************** Copyright.
