Drake of East Windsor, died Wednesday, March 28, 2001, at a local nursing home. Born in Torrington on June 5, 1913, she had lived in Hartford, and in St. Petersburg, Fla., for 20 years before moving to East Windsor in 1992. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Hesper Chapter, Simsbury. Mrs. Drake is survived by a daughter and friend, Shirley Barton of East Windsor and Frank Felletter; two grandchildren, Kenneth D. Barton and his friend, Geraldine Ford, of Vernon, and Douglas A. Barton; a great-grandson, Douglas A. Barton II; and extended family and friends. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 31, in the chapel of Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Torrington, at a later date. Her family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today, March 30, at the funeral home.
