Fetko Sr. Richard F. Fetko Sr., 67, of Tolland, husband of Elaine (Hruby) Fetko, died Sunday, April 8, 2001, at home. He was born in Rockville, son of the late Joseph and Mary (Gubala) Fetko, and was a Tolland resident for 40 years. Before his retirement, he was employed by Pratt & Whitney Aircraft. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict, a member of the Tolland Fire Department, and a VFW member. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Linda and her husband, Henry Wozniak, of Vernon, Joseph and his wife, Jodi Fetko, of Stafford Springs, Tammy Fetko-Crabb of Vernon, Richard Fetko Jr. and his girlfriend, Ann, of Willington, and Michael Fetko of Indiana; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Joan and Allan Burke of Maine and Marion and Paul Jackopsic of Tolland; and his grandchildren, Derek, Jeremy, Jennifer, Kathie, Kyle, Amanda, Amanda, and Chad. A funeral service will be held at 8 a.m. Thursday, April 12, at Tolland Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Merrow Road (Route 195), Tolland, with a blessing at 9 a.m. at St. Bernard Church, Rockville. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, at the funeral home.
