Percy B. Goodale

The funeral of Percy B. Goodale of 1140 Enfield street, who died suddenly at
his home Saturday, was conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Leete Funeral Home.
Rev. Donald A. Simpsonof Springfield, former pastor of the Enfield Congregational
Church, officated, assisted by Rev. Dr, David D. Vaughn, present pastor.  Burial
was in Center Cemetery, Newington.
Formerly manager of the Western Auto Store on Pearl Street, Thompsonville, he was
recently associated with the Worthington Pump Company in Holyoke, Mass.  Mr. Goodale
was born in Newington and had moved to Thompsonville about 12 years ago.  He was a 
member of the Thompsonville Rotary Club and the Enfield Congregational Church.
Besides his wife, Agnes (Weber) Goodale, he leaves two daughters, Mrs. David
Goodenough of West Lafayette, Ind., and Miss Joyce Goodale of Thompsonville; two
sons, Leland Goodale of the Navy, and Albert Goodale of Thompsonville; his mother,
Mrs. Emma R. Goodale of Newington; one sister, Mrs. Mabel Hanburry of Newington; two 
brothers, Albert R Goodale of Meriden, and Harold R. Goodale of Bristol.
