Mrs. Gluhosky was born Feb. 28, 1912, in Lansford, Pa. She had been a resident of Palm City for 10 years, moving from Manchester, where she had lived for 50 years. She worked for G. Fox and Co. in Hartford. She was a lifelong member of the National Slovak Society. Anna was a creative craft hobbyist, producing many fine needlework crafts. Surviving are her two sons, Eugene Gluhosky of New York City and Frank Gluhosky and his wife, Beverly, of Palm City; one brother, Paul Blazek of New York City; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Anna was predeceased by her husband, Stephen Gluhosky, on April 4, 1985. A graveside service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, May 21, in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 20, at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 580 Elm St., Rocky Hill.
