Garlick Kevin G. Garlick, 45, of Bolton, husband of Karolein (Bielert) Garlick, died after a courageous battle with a long illness on Sunday, April 15, 2001, surrounded by his family at home. He was born May 7, 1955, to the late Robert Garlick and Rosemary (Zadroske) Garlick. He was a state of Connecticut employee. He and his wife would have celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary on May 15, 2001. In addition to his wife, Karolein, he is survived by his beloved children; a daughter, Valerie Elizabeth and a son, Andrew Robert; his sister, Denise (Garlick) Penna, who provided loving support at home in his last weeks; his mother, Rosemary of Kensington; his brothers, Jeff of East Hampton, and Morgan; and his sister, Robin Garlick of Vermont; his in-laws, Karl and Alice Bielert of Bristol, Karen and Derek Fletcher of Litchfield, and Karla and Len Grasso of Northbrook, Ill.; six nephews; and two nieces. A service of remembrance will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 19, at Bolton Congregational Church, 228 Bolton Center Road, Bolton. Friends and family may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at Coventry Funeral Home, 2665 Boston Turnpike, Coventry.
