(McLaren) Hall, 84, of Queen St. in Enfield, widow of James W. Hall (1997), entered into eternal rest Thursday, April 3, 2003, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Mass. Jean was born in Holyoke, Mass., the daughter of the late William and Erma (Karle) McLaren. She was a graduate of Northfield Academy and attended American International College. She served with her late husband, Jim Hall with mission work for the International Y.M.C.A. in China during the 1940s. She assisted her late husband in working with the Y.M.C.A. in the U.S. on many fund-raising projects. Jean was a longtime active member of the Enfield Congregational Church and was instrumental in developing many projects with the Church. In her spare time, Jean loved Crossword Puzzles and card games. She is survived by a son, David McGregor Hall, of Garland, Texas; a daughter, Margaret Jean "Mardi" Ceniglio and her husband, Thomas, of Enfield; two grandchildren, Brian James Frost, Jennifer Lynn Hart, and her husband, Kevin; a great grandson, Tyler James Hart; 5 step grandchildren, Thomas Ceniglio III, Peter Ceniglio, David Ceniglio, Patricia Clynch, Timothy Ceniglio; 3 step great grandchildren, Pierce and Anthony Ceniglio, and Tara Clynch. A Memorial Service will be held Monday April 7, 2003, at 11 a.m. at the Enfield Congregational Church, 1295 Enfield St., Enfield. Interment will be in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, Springfield. Donations may be made in Jean's memory to the Enfield Congregational Church, 1295 Enfield St., Enfield, CT 06082, and to the American Diabetes Assoc., 300 Research Parkway, Meriden, CT 06450.
