George F. Hallahan Jr.

George F. Hallahan Jr., 32, of 33 Laurel Dr., died suddenly late Monday 
afternoon.
He born was born in Springfield, son of the late George F. and Marie F. (Nolan)
Hallahan of Allston, Mass.  He had lived in Enfield for most of his lifetime,
and was a veteran, having served with the USAF in the Korean Conflict.
He had been employed by the state as a correction officer at the Enfield 
State Prison, and was a member of Tanguay Magill Post, American Legion.
He is survived by his mother; his wife, Mrs. Marie (Sarno) Hallahan; three
daughters, Darlene, Donna and Eileen Hallahan, and a son, George, all at home;
and a sister, Mrs. Mary Garcia of Allston.
The funeral was held this morning at 9:45 a.m. from the Browne Funeral Home,
with services at St. Patrick's Church at 10:30.  Burial was in St. Patrick's 
Cemetery.
