"Bob" Harrison, 71, of Martin Terrace, Enfield, beloved husband of Joan (Reinhardt) Harrison of 48 years, died peacefully at home Thursday, May 10, 2001. Born in the Thompsonville section of Enfield, Bob was a lifelong resident of the Enfield. After graduating from Enfield High School, Bob served honorably in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed at Suburban Propane, retiring after 45 years. He also was employed at the Enfield Dairy Bar, and most recently he was employed at the Felician Adult Day Care. Bob was a member of the Calvary Presbyterian Church, and he was a member of the Doric Lodge No. 94 A.F. & A.M. He also was the past treasurer for the Society for the Detection of Thieves and Robbers. Besides his wife, Joan, Bob is survived by two daughters, Jill Harrison and Jennifer Roberts, both of Enfield; one sister, Shirley Hoersch of California; one brother, Paul J. Harrison Jr. of Southwick, Mass.; two grandchildren, Paige and Shivaughn; and four nieces and three nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 14, at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield, followed by interment at Enfield Street Cemetery. Bob's family will receive relatives and friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, May 13, at the funeral home.
