TITLE: Kathryn Howard, Obituary, April 10, 2001 SUBMITTERS: Journal Inquirer Manchester,CT (issue Apr 11, 2001) FORMATTED: ABishop, September 2001 ****************************************************************************************** HOWARD Kathryn Howard, widow of Robert Howard, of Davie, Fla., having great strength and courage fighting a battle with cancer, passed away sleeping at the home of her sister, Joanne Wade, Lunenberg, Mass., Tuesday, April 10, 2001 Mrs. Howard was born in Springfield on May 7, 1939, daughter of Lawrence and Ann (Payne) Connors, and had lived in Connecticut before moving to Florida in 1989. She had been a waitress in Florida, and had been most recently working at a country club. She is survived by her loving children, Thomas Yagmin and his wife, Joyce Ptak, of Windsor, Luanne Price of Vernon, and John Yagmin of Plantation, Fla., Linda Morel and her husband, Stephen Olstein, of West Hartford, and Robert Howard Jr. of Windsor Locks; her grandchildren, Michael Yagmin, Jeremiah and Jessica Price, Brian and Daniel Yagmin, and Sydney Olstein; her sister, Laureen Mackin of Newington; her brother and sister-in-law, Laurence and Janet Connors of Lee High Acres, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, April 16, at St. Gertrude Church, 550 Matianuck Ave., Windsor.
